Storm chasing and photography
June 19th 2009: It is now Friday moring and I have had almost no sleep. Busted in IA yesterday. The parameters where insane so it would have been absolutely nuts if we just had a little forcing. No forcing and an atomic CAP.
However today their will be forcing, and lots of it. Today has big event written all over it! Hottest day of the year so far it looks like. Cape will probably be insane everywhere so I have opted to chase closer to home. This whole area looks good, besides the veering low level winds. But, I am not convinced that a gigantic linear event is going to be all we see today. It depends on alot of things really! I do need to try and take a nap before things get crazy on me. But the atmosphere might not let me, LOL.
